"WHEN IT DOES NOT MAKE SENSE"

SCRIPTURE: Ruth 1:11,15 & 18
11-But Naomi said, "My daughters, return to your own homes. Why do you want to go with me?
15-Naomi said to Ruth, "Look, your sister-in-law is going back to her own people and her own gods. Go back with her."
18-When Naomi saw that Ruth had firmly made up her mind to go with her, she stopped arguing with her. (NCV)

MEDITATION: Often times we are led to do things that simply do not make sense to us. Or things happen and we wonder "how did I get here"? Things that don't make sense to us make perfect sense to God. He is the Author of our story, and He is doing a work in us and setting us up for a blessing. Even though the task seems ridiculous we must be obedient and sit STILL and watch God work. The story of Ruth is an example of faith, humility, patience and fully trusting God. Naomi was Ruth's mother-in-law, who had lost her husband and her two sons. Naomi could not bare another son for Ruth to marry so it baffled her why Ruth wanted to accompany her for she had nothing to offer her. Naomi finally gave in and allowed her to accompany her and that trip to Bethlehem changed both of their lives. This is a story of God's favor and what happens when we are obedient, patient and humble. The story began with a great lost, but ended with a tremendous gain for both Naomi and Ruth. When things make no sense to us we must trust God, for He is preparing our latter to to be greater.

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. (NKJV)

"I GOT A TESTIMONY"

God is faithful and what He promised it shall come to pass. I encourage all to hold fast to what is pure and true, don't ever give up fight the good fight. "RECONCILIATION IS A MUST"

SCRIPTURE: 2 Samuel 9:3 And the king said, is there not yet any of the house of Saul, that I may show the kindness of God unto him? And Ziba said unto the king, Jonathan hath yet a son, which is lame on his feet.

MEDITATION: Saul tried to kill David, but after the death of Saul and his son Jonathan who was David's best friend whom he loved dearly rembered the covenant between them. Saul was David's previous oppressor, but David sent for his grandson not for retribution but for restoration. David restored the land and the servants of Saul to his grandson Mesphibosheth as an act of kindness and to keep the covenant he had with Jonathan. As Christians it our responsibility to reconcile with others even if they have caused us a great deal of grief. We must sow peace, not pain. Let us not be bound by anger, fear or hatred. Peace must prevail and we must move to reconciliation. God has redeemed and reconciled us to Himself, therefore as Christians we must reconcile with those who have oppressed us. Reconciliation brings peace, have you reconciled?

GOD'S WORD TEACHES US TO FORGIVE AND RECONCILE, SATAN TRIES TO KEEP YOUR HEART BOUND WITH UNFORGIVNESS, PAIN,RESENTFULNESS AND BITTERNESS. TRY JESUS FOR HE IS A HEART FIXER AND A MIND REGULATOR.

"YOU SHALL NOT BE MOVED"

SCRIPTURE: Psalms-62:6 He only is my rock and my salvation: He is my defence; I shall not be moved.

MEDITATION: Everything that could have happen has happen, but stand still and know that you shall not be moved. When you know that God is your Rock and Defense you will not be moved by adversity. Power belongs to God, trust Him. God is our Sun in the rain and our Shield in the battle. Your adversity is not meant to destroy you, but to promote you for the best is yet to come. When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Almighty God will raise up a standard against him. No weapon formed against you shall prosper. No matter what the situation looks like, delayed is not denial.

His Promises are True. He is your Rock, Defense, Sun, Shield, and you shall not be MOVED!!!!!!!

"JOY"

SCRIPTURE: Nehemiah-8:10 Then he said to them, "Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength"

MEDITATION: Happiness sometimes depends on happenings. If things are going good for us then we are happy; if anything changes, happiness dies. Joy is deeper than that. Joy is inner confidence and well-being and only the Holy Spirit can give that. You can experience joy while suffering the deepest pain. Joy is not a result of outside circumstances; it is the result of conditions on the inside. Christian joy is inner peace that is so fulfilling. You can not find or buy joy, you must surrender to God and His will and joy will come to your heart.

The joy of the Lord is your strength!!!!! JOY, JOY, JOY, down in my heart!

"PAIN HAS PURPOSE"

"PAIN HAS PURPOSE"

Scripture: Romans 8:18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

Meditation: Pain purifies and keeps us humble and draws us closer to God. The deepest pains are not physical; they are emotional and spiritual. If we avoided pain we would never grow up spiritually. God is shaping us through pain, not to destroy us but to teach us discipline and strengthen us. God does not promise to remove our pain or relieve it but He does promise to transform it to work for our good. God will give us the grace we need to convert pain into strength and suffering into glory.

God has purpose behind your pain!!

"STAND STILL"

"STAND STILL"

Scripture: Exodus 14:13-14

And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will show to you today: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more for ever. 14-The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.

Meditation: When we are covered with hurt and disappointment and things seem impossible, stand still and God will do the possible. Giving up is never an option because God has a way and He always makes a way. Sometimes it is extremely difficult to keep pressing on when we cannot physically see it working out, but stand still. Even when we don't understand we must stand still. God's work is perfect and He will keep His people. The same God that parted the Red Sea, is working on your behalf and it will work out for your good.

STAND STILL, HOLD YOUR PEACE!!!!!
