"THE COMFORTER"

SCRIPTURE: Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort... 1Corinthians 1:3

MEDITATION: In our most distressing and difficult times, God is our strength, protector, comforter, our ALL and ALL, our EVERYTHING. When you are in God's safety-net, you are safe. When you are in a dark place in your life, God can most certainly be a RADIANT LIGHT. Unlike human comfort which feels good for a short while, God's comfort is long term. God does not promise a life with out obstacles or hardship. But He does promise that He will walk with us through those troubled times. We can't always choose the situations that we go through, but we can choose how we go through them. Our ROCK, our SOURCE, our DEFENSE, our SALVATION, our REFUGE, our DELIVERER; He is our GOD! Hold on to God's never changing hand. Pray, Trust, and Believe that God will see you through.

PRAYER: God our Father, thank You for being everything we need. Forgive us of our sins, continue to cover our families. Bless our Nation and our President. We love You, in Jesus name. Amen.

"GOD IS FAITHFUL, LET'S BE THANKFUL"

SCRIPTURE: 2Timothy 2:13-If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself. (NKJ)

1Thessalonians 5:18-In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

MEDITATION: Today and every day let us thank God for being faithful when we are faithless. God blesses us in many ways, and in more ways than we know. In our eyes things may look dim and dark, but in God's eyes sunny and bright. We may not be where we want to be, but we are surely not where we use to be. Don't concentrate on what you don't have, but what you do have. We have God's Grace and Mercy that brings us through each time, and for that let us say THANKS!!!!!!!

BLESS OTHERS AND GOD WILL MOST CERTAINLY BLESS YOU!

PRAYER:
Lord, thank You for being faithful, and for every blessing. Thank You for blessing us when we simply did not deserve to be blessed. We just want to say thank You Lord. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Have a blessed and safe Thanksgiving.

"SPIRITUAL FITNESS"

"SPIRITUAL FITNESS"
Today's Scripture

1Timothy 4:8-"Physical training is good, but training for Godliness is much better, promising benefits in this life and in the life to come. "

1Peter 2:2-Like newborn babies, you must crave pure spiritual milk so that you will grow into a full experience of salvation. (NLT)

Today's Meditation

Exercising is important and vital, but not as important as exercising your spiritual mind. Reading God's Holy Word is exercise for your mind and spirit. If we are not consistent at reading our Bible's daily, we begin to grow weak. We must read the Word to grow spiritually, in fact we should crave to read our Bible's daily.

Reading God's Word:

  • Builds a relationship with God

  • Builds endurance

  • Builds our faith

  • Fills us with peace that surpasses all understanding

  • Puts joy and comfort in our hearts

We are spiritual creatures at heart, our spirits are housed by our physical bodies. Let's do everything we can to keep our spiritual house in shape. In order to be strong we must build our spirtual houses daily.

READ YOUR BIBLE DAILY! GET FIT WITH GOD'S WORD!

Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father, forgive us of our short comings. Continue to mold and make us, and give us the strength to endure our situations. Thank You for grace and mercy, and most of all thank You for Your son Jesus Christ. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Have a great week! Q. D. Johnson

"THE DEADLY WEAPON"

"THE DEADLY WEAPON"

This Weeks Scripture

James 3:6-The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole person, sets the whole course of his life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell. (NIV)

Meditation

Out of the mouth can be love or hate, life or death. Why is it possible that out of the mouth we praise our Holy God with, we can tear down a person's spirit? The Bible speaks about the tongue and says that no man can tame it , and that it is unruly, evil and full of poison. What you say to others can have a lasting effect, whether good or bad. If you are speaking truth, it is the delivery that determines the outcome. Today let us speak kind and encouraging words to our brotherman. Let us build each other up and not tear each other down. Don't let your tongue spit fire, let your tongue be a river of flowing water that speaks life. Your tongue lies inside your mouth and at times can be deadly. Our God lives inside of us and He is ALWAYS refreshing and full of blessings.

Prayer

Most Gracious, Heavenly Father give us a heart like Yours. Teach us to speak life and not death, for we know that our words have power. Tame our deadly tongues, and forgive us of our sins willingly and unwillingly. Teach us this day to walk in Your ways, in Jesus name. Amen

How will you begin to use your tongue for uplifting and not down pulling?

Have a blessed week! Qua Sonya D. Johnson
