"THE LORD YOUR GOD, GOD ALMIGHTY"

SCRIPTURE:

Isaiah 51:15-16-But I am the Lord your God, who divided the sea whose waves roared-The Lord of host is His name. And I have put My Words in your mouth; I have covered you with the shadow of My hand, that I may plant the heavens, lay the foundations of the earth, and to Zion, "You are My people"

MEDITATION:

On this day and everyday let us not forget who our Maker is, our Lord and Savior, our Redeemer. He has brought us out of darkness into His marvelous light. We must not put any other gods before Him. The Lord-All-Powerful, has allowed you to survive the storms of 2007. Although it rained in your life, you grew stronger and wiser. He has brought you to 2008 with a few bumps and bruises, but you made it. The God that clothed and created the earth has given you new life in 2008 among an array of blessings. Who is the King of Glory? The Lord! He is Strong and Mighty. The Lord He is Mighty in battle. He is our Rock, our Way out of no way, our Water in the fire, and our Strength in the pit. He is Holy, Mighty, Powerful, Creator of All things, the King, our Rock and our Sword and Shield. He is God, God-All-Mighty.

PRAYER:

Most Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for our struggles and our setbacks. We don't always understand but we know You know best and You have the last say so. Forgive us for our sins. Continue to cover us with the blood of Jesus. In Jesus Name. Amen.

PRAISE PARTY "08" was a success and I would like to thank everyone who came out and those who were not able to come. God blessed the event and we were truly uplifted and encouraged. Thank You for all your prayers for my Aunt Cynthia we are praying for comfort and peace. Have a great week keep God first in everything you do, and remember He is in control of everything.

SCRIPTURE:
Job 5:17-18 Behold, happy is the man whom God corrects, Therefore do not despise the chastening of the God Almighty. For He bruises, but He binds up; He wounds, but His hands make whole.


MEDITATION:

God sometimes allows circumstances to enter our lives but the God that allows is the God that fixes. Often times we think that we are in the worse circumstance ever but we must remember with God things are subject to change at any moment. Wait on God no matter what it looks like. For we know it is not what we see it is what we believe. When God allows a wound it is so He can make a cure, and He Always gets the Glory. It is good to know that God is the Author and finisher of our faith.


God corrects but He also protects, He chastens but He also comforts. Our Lord Our Saviour and forever Our God!!!!!!!!!

PRAYER:
Lord thank You for bringing situations in our life to strengthen our faith, and to build our Godly character. Thank You for Your grace and mercy. Forgive us for our sins, bless our going out and our coming in. Thank You for being in control of EVERYTHING, we love You. In Jesus name. Amen.

Behold how good and how pleasant it is for brethern to dwell together in unity.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT:
In order for anything to be unified God must be at the top of the equation. God is a peaceful, merciful, and loving God anything else is not God. Today and everyday let us be in unison with our fellow brother whether it is at home, work, or church.

ONE ACCORD IS ALWAYS BETTER THAN DISCORD!!!!!!!

PRAYER:
Most Gracious Heavenly Father thank You for Your grace and mercy. Forgive us for our many, many sins. Lord teach us to live, talk, walk, and be on one accord with our fellow brother. Bless our families and friends, heal our sick love ones. We love and thank You, in Jesus name. Amen.
