"THEY THAT WAIT"

"THEY THAT WAIT"

RUTH 3:18 Then Naomi said, "Wait, my daughter, until you find out what happens. For the man will not rest until the matter is settled today." (NIV)

Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. (KJV)

I can almost imagine how Ruth felt while she was waiting for Boaz to return with an answer. She had met the man of her dreams, the person that would change her life tremendously. We must trust and wait for God's timing and Perfect plan. In this time of waiting God is pruning, purifying and processing. It is imperative that we allow God's Perfect timing to operate in our lives. We must learn to wait on the Lord and trust His timing and plan for our lives and situations. Waiting at times can be very irritating when we rely on our own strength. Stand still and know that God is All Knowing and has our best interest at heart. Don't allow your waiting process to inflame you for God will sustain you. Cease from personal efforts, be still and let the Lord's time take place. Although it tarry wait on it with faith filled expectation.

GOT A DATE, GOD'S TIMING WON'T BE LATE!!!!

Thought: Naomi and Ruth where women of great faith and virtue. I encourage you to read the book of Ruth when you start to feel weary about your situation. Let it saturate your spirit.

I think this reached me at a perfect time. Sometimes we put ourself in such a rush for things and then when we get them we don't know what to do. "They that Wait" is such a good title. Because along with waiting you have to be prepared. We all know good things come to those who wait and are still ready to put in the work once there blessings are present. Wait but in the meantime get prepared.
