"TRUST GOD, WON'T HE DO IT"?

PSALM 37:5

Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in Him; and He shall bring it to pass. (King James Version)

I am in a Season of my life where I can honestly say, “PEACE”, rules and reigns in and on me. After many years of doing what I wanted to do, revelation HIT me like a ton of bricks. This life is not my own, it has been designed and purposed to be a Servant of The Lord. When He Moves, I Move, Just Like That. Whatever he says, is what it IS. Wherever He says Go, I am THERE. I Gave Myself Away and when I did, He opened up doors SUDDENLY. Jesus!! Do you know the Man?

Trusting in God entails us relinquishing our own personal agendas, wants, situations and desires. The text says “commit thy way unto the Lord” and that word commit means roll off onto. The second part of the text commands us to “trust”. Trust says I totally depend on the All-Mighty God to flow and move freely and take total control of the difficulty and or situation that I am faced with. Committing and trusting says I have let go and I am allowing God to move on my behalf. You may be in a fire and although it is scorching hot you will not get burned, because you know for certain that God can and will bring you out. God is a God of possibilities in an impossible situation. When the storms of life are raging, we will roll off ALL things to the Lord and into His hands. He SHALL and WILL bring “IT” to pass. Won't He Do IT? I am a living Testimony, YES, He HAS! Jesus!!! Do you know the Man?

Growing up as a little girl and a young adult, my Grandfather use to say, "you know where you been, but you don't know where you are going". I never understood this until now. When I decided to say YES to The Lord, it has literally cost me MY life. You see I thought I was the Captain of the Ship, the Pilate of the Plane, the Builder of the House. But if God is not in it, it is totally in vain AND a waste of time. God MUST Build your house and Guard over your city, NOW that's scripture. Success comes when you surrender your WHOLE Life to God. You will NEVER get Promise without allowing God to be the Artist of the Oil Painting, the Potter of the Clay. You will always operate in partial. So today I say to my Grandfather(God rest his soul), No I don't know where I am going but with The Lord being in charge, I am in GOOD Hands. Be encouraged today and KNOW that God has got THIS, whatever your THIS is. Trust Jesus our Savior with ALL of you and your life. Commit your way to The Lord; trust in Him and he will do this. (Psalm 37:5 NIV)

Transitioning from familiarity to un-familiarity takes TOTAL Trust and Surrender to God! The song says, "I give myself away so You can use me". Withholding Nothing, because You belong to Him!

David said to the Philistine, “You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. This day the Lord will deliver you into my hands, and I’ll strike you down and cut off your head. This very day I will give the carcasses of the Philistine army to the birds and the wild animals, and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel. All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the Lord saves; for the battle is the Lord ’s, and he will give all of you into our hands.” (1 Samuel 17:45-47 NIV)

I am reminded today of a little boy who was 3 years of age and on his way to Walgreens with his Mother, upon getting out of the car he was skipping and fell. He fell so hard on the concrete ground that he scraped the skin off of both of his knees. With tears streaming down his face and thick red blood running down both of his legs and barely walking because of the pain, Jayden turns around and looks at me and says, "come on Mommy, let's go". I teach my son to have staying power, even in pain and adversity. Come on here Glory! I speak today with clarity and boldness, "when the going gets tough, the tough gets going"! Oh YES, we do!! We take a licking and keep on ticking! Holy Ghost!!! Like the Duracell Battery, we are built to last. You see, you must be mindful on investing your time, energy, money and thought on things that will not last. Dollar Tree/Family Dollar brand batteries DON'T last, oh but baby, Duracell Batteries do. Yes it is about the brand. You see when the going got tough as though it appeared. David whom was built to last by the ALMIGHTY and Powerful God we serve, dropped bows(tough got going) on Goliath. David simply told the puny giant, "you come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of The Lord Almighty". 1Samuel 17:45 

Whatever it is that is seemingly trying to take you out CANNOT. It may seem like a giant over you but David(you know the one that slayed Goliath with 5 stones and a sling shot) and I come to testify and let you know that, point blank period, it ain't gone happen. Yes it is tough but we keep it moving, because no weapon formed against us shall be able to prosper. God has given us Grace to sustain us. Paul(2 Corinthians 12:9) just did a drive by in my Spirit, "My Grace is sufficient for you, for My Power is made perfect in  weakness".  WHAT??? You mean to tell me that when Qua' Sonya is weak(going gets tough), that is when my God the Father pours on Grace to get me through. YES!!! The tough got going when David(with my Spiritual imagination, was ride or die), told Goliath in verse 46, "This Day". Come on here Glory!! Not on Friday or Saturday but on THIS Day, The Lord will hand you over, I'll strike you down, and cut off your head. Lord help me God! David goes on to say with Holy Boldness(Duracell, built to last), "I will give the carcasses of the Phillistine army to the birds of the air and the beasts of the earth". Show him what you are working with, AND who is operative in you.

David was a bad boy, he went on to say in verse 47, "all those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that The Lord saves; for the battle is the Lord's, and He will give all of you into our hands". NOW, that is good news because David just spoke prophectically into your life! Holy Ghost! I encourage you today that whatever your situation/circumstance may be it is puny compared to the ALMIGHTY God. We win, it is not sword or spear(this represents what Goliath had and your own strength) that conquers. It is the God of Much Grace that conquers ALL. Stand on this Word today, KNOWING, Trusting and Believing that, the battle is the Lord's and whatever is coming against you that The Lord has already worked it out.
